Office 365 is Microsoft’s cloud software platform that includes Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Lync and Office Web Apps. Microsoft first started its pivot to a software plus services company by offering “BPOS” or Business Productivity Online as a beta in 2010 and went live with the service in June of 2011. Community IT has been deploying these cloud services since their inception and have been privileged to have a front row seat watching this solution change drastically over the past 4 years.
As an employee owned Technology Company focused on the nonprofit sector since our founding in 1993 we’ve refined our deployment practice over the years. We recognize that migrating to a new system for email or files is not just a simple matter of updating some DNS records or clicking the right check box. Our migration approach is a comprehensive approach that has incorporated over 4 years of lessons learned from a wide range of organizations with varied and complex email requirements.
Building on our May 29th webinar hosted by NTEN, we are eager to provide this Office 365 Deployment Checklist to help your organization move to the cloud.
