Graphic of mobile devicesTopic: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Strategy for Nonprofits
June 26 2014
As organizations allow staff to use their own computers and cell phones for work, or to take company laptops and devices out of the office for tele-work, it becomes important to have an IT strategy and policies that specify the responsibilities employees have for maintaining and securing their computers and cell phones.

This is a practical webinar for nonprofit managers (tech or otherwise) who are interested in developing an effective Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) strategy for their organization. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to BYOD, and each attendee will walk away with a starting point for building their own.

Community IT President Johan Hammerstrom  shares best practices for creating an effective BYOD strategy in your organization.  He reviews examples and discuss their strengths and weaknesses.
