The new Idealware report “The Landscape of Project Management Tools for Nonprofits” is now available for free download from the Idealware site.

Project management is a discipline that includes both best practices and tools—some as simple as a paper checklist or spreadsheet, and some incredibly powerful and complex pieces of software that help plan, organize, collaborate, track, and share progress across multiple teams.

In this report, Idealware looks at the wide range of available software to understand what these systems are capable of, what they cost, and how effective they are for nonprofits. To put those results in context, they also define the management techniques that help make projects successful, the specific challenges nonprofits face in project management, and what organizations can do to improve their project management processes.

Community IT Innovators is proud to sponsor this survey of the tools available to nonprofit technology managers. For more information on technology management at nonprofits, you can check out past articles and resources here.

Also check out our November webinar, which covered making software decisions as an organization, and how leadership comes first and the specific technology decision should come last.

Sponsored by Community IT Innovators and Idealware, the Landscape of Project Management Tools for Nonprofits report is free to download from the Idealware site.
