About the Presenters
Katherine Mowers is a Senior Consultant with Community IT Innovators based in Washington, DC. She possesses more than 15 years experience with 10 years as a partner with nonprofit organizations providing technology capacity building support. Her experience includes needs assessments, 3rd party software selection and implementations, business process analysis, change management, coaching, and stakeholder relations. Prior to joining Community IT Innovators, she served as an independent consultant. Katherine also previously worked for a Fortune 500 telecommunications company where she served as a catalyst for the development and implementation of people-centered technology solutions, organizational transitions and process improvements.
Karen Finn is a Partner and Senior Consultant with the Results Leadership Group (RLG) based in Bethesda, Maryland. Karen has extensive experience in Results-Based Accountability (RBA), and performance metrics particularly in the areas of children, youth, family and health policy. Prior to joining RLG, she served as the Chief of Programs and Policy for the Maryland Governor’s Office for Children (GOC). In this capacity, Karen led the implementation of RBA across 24 local jurisdictions. She currently works throughout the United States to assist organizations to use RBA and the Results Scorecard™ software to strategically manage community outcomes and agency performance measures.
