Community IT March 2016 News: Looking forward to 16NTC in San Jose CA.
At the end of this month several of us from Community IT will be in sunny San Jose for the 2016 Nonprofit Technology Conference (16NTC) organized by our friends at NTEN.
If you’ve never attended an NTC I can recommend it. I learn something every year and enjoy connecting with my peers, seeing how far our community has come, and speculating about the future of technology with nonprofit missions.
Let me know @CommunityIT if you’ll be at NTC – I’d love to connect in person.
In our February free webinar we presented our guiding principles toward Backups and Disaster Recovery for Nonprofits, having learned a little about eighth floor flooding last fall. If you weren’t able to attend you can check out our slides and the recording of the webinar on our website.
On March 17th – St Patrick’s Day – Galen Wenger will be presenting our experience in upgrading clients to Windows 10 for the past 6 months and what we’ve learned. Windows 10 for the Enterprise incorporates a variety of features that make it easier to deploy and manage in nonprofit enterprise environments.
Join Galen March 17th from 4-5pm EST to learn how to maximize the value of Windows 10 for your nonprofit.
Please let me know if you have questions or ideas for future webinar topics, and follow me @CommunityIT or FaceBook for all my latest posts and news.
Warm Regards,
Johan Hammerstrom, President & CEO
