Katie McHarris

Katie McHarris joined Community IT in 2023 as a Client Account Associate, joining the Account Management/Client Services Team.

Katie’s role at Community IT is to support clients. On a daily basis this includes managing agreements, communicating with clients, maintaining documentation, data, and internal processes, and being on call for any others tasks that come up!

Prior to joining Community IT, Katie worked primarily in the education field. Her roles varied from coaching collegiate women’s basketball to most recently supporting staff at an elementary school as the Faculty Assistant. While her responsibilities varied greatly, she has always been focused on supporting good experiences of the staff and clients she interacted with. One of her favorite aspects of any job is team building. Creating and contributing to spaces where everyone is valued, heard, and able to play a role is really important to her.

Katie holds a BA in Sports Management from Covenant College and an MA in Higher Education from Geneva College.

Katie lives in Colorado with her wife, young daughter, and two puppers. When she has the opportunity she spends her time outside hiking or running, woodworking, or working on home projects.
