Originally from Guatemala, Edwin Perez moved to the United States at the age of 15 and has lived in Washington DC since then.
Edwin attended Theodore Roosevelt Senior High School in Washington DC and graduated in 2007. After High School he enlisted in the US Army for 8 years. Prior to joining Community IT , Edwin worked for Transdev Services Inc that provides services for Americans with Disabilities. While working with Transdev Services, Edwin completed the IT Fundamentals career training program at the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School in 2019 and subsequently was promoted to IT Fundamentals Para-educator. Edwin is CompTIA IT Fundamentals and A+ Certified and is currently studying for his Network+ certification. He also is CompTIA Security+ certified.
Edwin joined the Community IT Innovators On-Site Support in 2022. What he loves about CIT is the company mission that aligns with what he has been doing for the past decade or more, which is to help others conquer their goals.
Edwin enjoys reading and learning about new and old technology, watching soccer games, walking, and driving around the city and spending quality time with his family.
