Should I move my organization to Raiser’s Edge NXT?
If we don’t use Raiser’s Edge should we consider NXT?
How does one pronounce NXT anyway?

After more than 15 years of the current version of The Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud released The Raiser’s Edge: NXT in early June.
Community IT partner Build Consulting discusses how to evaluate whether your organization should make the move to NXT. As organizations think about constituent relationship management (CRM) and information strategy, the move to NXT should not be approached as a simple upgrade, but as a high stakes decision that should be evaluated and planned for.
Build Consulting is passionately independent. They do not receive any form of direct or indirect compensation from any vendor for the recommendations they make or perspectives they share. Their ability to make unbiased recommendations lies in their independence and this has served to further their reputation as trusted advisors to the nonprofit community.
Kyle Haines and Peter Gross of Build Consulting present their perspective on what constitutes “readiness” for an organization looking to engage with and manage constituents more effectively.  They have more than 40 combined years of experience with nonprofit fundraising, Blackbaud products, and better weaving CRM into the fabric of nonprofit organizations.

In addition, Robert Weiner posted the following comment during the webinar.
From a recent Chronicle of Philanthropy interview with Kentaro Toyama: “The Law of Amplification is this idea that technology amplifies underlying human forces. If the human forces that are already there are positive, then the technology will amplify that, and things will tend to go in a more positive direction. If they’re negative, then technology will amplify that and things will tend to go in a negative direction.” https://philanthropy.com/article/Tech-s-No-Panacea-for-Saving/230857
