- The top ranked MSPs in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand

- The leading tools they leverage to run their businesses
- The top technologies they provide to customers
“The managed service provider market is evolving at a rapid pace and the companies showcased on the 2016 MSP 501 list represent the most agile, flexible and innovative organizations in the industry.” said Aldrin Brown, Editor in Chief, MSPmentor.
An interesting finding to Community IT Innovators and our nonprofit community is the overall move to the cloud and the growth of Office 365 as a popular cloud platform.
“Today, 80-plus percent of all 2016 MSP 501 companies sell Office 365 solutions—and with confidence. Sixty-one percent of these organizations believe Office 365 represents a growth opportunity for them in 2016—nearly the same number that believe security represents a significant opportunity. This compares to just 2.4 percent of MSP 501 companies that believe Google Apps represent significant opportunity for them this year. This could change, of course, especially now that Google has launched a concerted effort to get closer to MSPs, especially smaller ones that focus on the SMB market. Today, just 16 percent of MSP 501 companies offer Google Apps to their customers, according to our survey.”
The 2016 MSP 501 list is based on data collected by MSPmentor and its partner, Clarity Channel Advisors. Data was collected online from March through April 2016. The MSP 501 list recognizes top managed service providers based on metrics including recurring revenue, growth and other factors. In addition to a ranking on the MSP 501 list, every company that participated in the study has been assigned a score reflecting its intrinsic value. The measure, known as the Total Service Provider (TSP) score, evaluates an MSP’s mix of revenue from various activities, including consulting, cloud, reselling and managed services.
