Monifa Ahmed

Monifa Ahmed joined Community IT in 2023 as People Engagement Assistant, where she supports the effective and efficient operation of our Human Resources and People Engagement Department. She is an HR Generalist, having previously worked in recruiting, interviewing and hiring of staff, facilitating orientation, managing learning management system trainings, and helping staff adhere to company policies and practices. Some of the things she enjoys about her position at Community IT are planning and participating in our team building and outreach events, and attending seminars to learn more about Human Resources best practices.

Monifa is a member of SHRM and holds an HR Management Certificate.

Born and raised in Washington, DC, outside of work Monifa loves spending time with family, traveling, and cooking.
