Omar Cisneros

Omar Cisneros is the Advanced Support Engineering Team Manager, responsible for leading a team of advanced engineering professionals who provide escalated support for complex IT challenges. In this role, Omar oversees the delivery of high-level technical solutions and ensures the effective resolution of critical issues.

At Community IT, Omar Cisneros began as a Help Desk Analyst, advanced to the Onsite Support Team, was promoted to Network Engineer within the ASET team, and ultimately became the team’s manager. Prior to joining Community IT, Omar served as Senior IT Network Administrator at TS1 Solutions, where he managed network infrastructure and supported enterprise IT operations. Omar also held the position of Helpdesk Manager at a managed service provider, delivering both remote and onsite services to nonprofit and for-profit clients.

Omar Cisneros holds several recent certifications, including Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Microsoft Technology Associate, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+, and is recognized as a VMware Technical Sales Professional. His experience includes a tenure at The Corcoran College of Arts, where he gained extensive expertise in Mac systems, as well as nearly 15 years at the NIH Library, serving as Library Technician Supervisor for a contractor team.

Having grown up in Washington, DC, Omar Cisneros enjoys spending leisure time vacationing at the beach with family and friends
