Tyrell Thomas

Tyrell Thomas is a Network Administrator at Community IT. Tyrell comes to Community IT from working the past number of years at Downtown DC Business Improvement District as an IT Assistant and most recently as IT Manager. Tyrell was born and raised in Washington, DC, where he graduated from Mckinley Technology High School. Tyrell supports clients in various ways such as onboarding and off-boarding, remote and onsite support, and other technical issues.

Tyrell currently holds Comptia A+ and Security+ certifications, and is now aiming to become a Certified Enterprise Administrator. Tyrell has experience as a technical specialist, help desk representative and field technician. He has a BS in Computer Science.

When not working, Tyrell enjoys spending time with his kids. When they are not taking up his free time he loves to travel and give back to his community. He is happy to be part of an organization with a mission of building clients up to become tech-efficient.
