Daeshawn joined Community IT Innovators in February 2022 as an On-Site Support Technician, where she helped end-users solve technical problems face-to-face. She has helped clients connect to email, the network, and cloud solutions, both in-person and remotely. She now holds the position Help Desk Analyst where she assists national clients remotely.
Prior to Community IT, Daeshawn held positions as a data center technician and an IT support intern. Daeshawn has spent time replacing server hardware components including hard drives, motherboards, and power supply units. Daeshawn has enjoyed forming interpersonal relationships with students, young adults and older adults by providing technical support.
Daeshawn graduated from School Without Walls SHS and the Latin American Youth Center Career Academy in DC. Daeshawn has completed CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, MOS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital literacy certifications. She is HDI Customer Service certified.
Outside of work, Daeshawn enjoys reading, shopping, spending time outdoors and with family.
