Nonprofit Development Operations and Technology

A panel of four experts from Build Consulting leads a discussion about the challenges facing modern development/fundraising operations. In this webinar, they answer questions from the audience about development operations and technology challenges, and share insights and experience from their combined decades of experience in nonprofit strategy and constituent relationship management (CRM).

Questions submitted in advance for this webinar directly shaped the path of our conversation. Thanks for the collaboration and the opportunity to answer specific inquiries.

This webinar is part of our series on leadership and management techniques for IT support for nonprofits.

This webinar is appropriate for nonprofit executives, managers and nonprofit IT personnel – and as with all our webinars, it is appropriate for a varied audience.

Community IT Innovators is pleased to partner with our colleagues at Build Consulting to present this webinar. Build Consulting was created to help nonprofits reach their goals. They are inspired by nonprofits who are driven to transform themselves and, ultimately, the world.

Kyle Haines, Partner at Build Consulting, is passionate about all things design. An architect at heart, he finds joy in creating evocative and engaging “things”. This passion spans his personal and professional life and is most notable in the visually engaging way that Build Consulting communicates. Kyle volunteers with two organizations to improve the sustainability of his community.

Jo Butler, Nonprofit CRM Manager at Build Consulting, loves to assist nonprofits with donor databases. Originally from Australia, she moved to Washington, D.C. in 2005, where she has worked exclusively with nonprofit organizations. At Build, Jo translates complex business problems into well-implemented process and technology solutions.

Peter Gross, Partner at Build Consulting, caught the nonprofit bug 20 years ago, working for a passionate, innovative civil rights organization in Detroit. Build Consulting is an expression of his respect for similarly passionate organizations, and is focused by his belief that people who feel their time and skills are valued help create innovative and accomplished organizations.

Build has a passion for leveraging data and technology to improve nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit technology projects fail at a rate of over 50%. Build Consulting is on a mission to change that. They view technology change as organizational change.

Build Consulting has extensive experience transforming nonprofit organizations. They marry deep data and information technology experience with an on-the-ground knowledge of the daily realities of life at a nonprofit.

Build Consulting works exclusively with nonprofits, providing technology and data strategy, project leadership, and information systems management/support. Build Consulting is passionately independent. They do not receive any form of direct or indirect compensation from any vendor for the recommendations they make or perspectives they share.
