Craig Walker

Craig is a network systems administrator who assists organizations with network management and systems administration and helps perform strategic planning and needs assessments for computer equipment and peripherals for many different non-profit organizations in the Washington DC Metro Area. Craig has rectified many technical issues for our clients by instituting best practices in system log analysis, backups, network operating center security, user account/permissions management and systems/software auditing. Craig is a native Washingtonian,  he joined our team in December of 1999. Craig was formerly employed by the DC Department of Transportation.

He feels that Community IT Innovators gives him the best opportunity to really help groups or individuals in the local community, to bridge the digital divide. He is currently a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Craig is also a fulltime volunteer in the Southeast DC area. He spearheads a community computer giveaway and training efforts program and has been doing so for the past 12 years. Service to the community and its kids is the driving force behind Craig’s efforts outside of the workplace.
