Floyd Wayne Shackelford

Floyd Wayne Shackelford Jr (Wayne) joined Community IT Innovators in September 2022 as a Help Desk Analyst after working as a Computer Technician for Action Computer, and later AllTechSolutions, where he performed a similar function as he does now at Community IT. As a Help Desk Analyst, Wayne spends his workdays assisting customers with a wide variety of issues as well as determining which tickets should be escalated or handed off to other departments.

Wayne graduated from American InterContinental University with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a focus on Information Assurance and Security. In addition, he has a few certifications, his most notable being from CompTIA that range from the A+ to the PenTest+.

Wayne lives in Dothan, Alabama, and spends his free time either finding ways to provide IT solutions that don’t require reliance on a large corporation, or gaming with friends. Some personal projects he’s worked on include setting up his own website on the Onion Network, as well as maintaining his own email, file storage, livestreaming, and even patch management servers, among other things. He enjoys online games and even a few tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder.
